I support something that is very important to me. As a mom of 3 and doting grandmother of 1, a mentor of 3 local high schoolers and an advisor for a Girl Scout working to earn her Gold Award, I have seen how helping local kids helps our community long-term.
The Youth Center, a 5-year awardee of "Top-Rated NonProfit" (as ranked by the well-respected website GREATNONPROFITS), does just that. But they rely on your support every year to ensure that their programs and facilities are of the highest possible quality and are accessible to all.
This year I am trying something new - a series race - the California Race Series with Los Alamitos, Seal Beach and Cypress races. Last year's half-marathon was challenging, but through your support we made a big difference to the kids at risk in our community. This year I wanted to do MORE.
The Youth Center makes a difference to kids, and that makes a difference to me.
